The University of Glasgow featured in Outlander episode 3.05, Freedom & Whisky, a number of times. It’s Joseph Black Building, which hosts the School of Chemistry, was used for the classroom scene, including Brianna, when the lecturer is discussing Paul Revere.
We were a little bit lucky to find this room. A friend had told us about the building being used for the scene, and had recommended asking the reception staff for directions. However, when we arrived the staff in attendance were new and didn’t seem to know where I should look.
Fortunately, having studied at Glasgow University, I had some knowledge of the general layout. Also, the conference room door was wide open. 🙂
