Starz has revealed the main cast of Outlander prequel ‘Blood of my Blood’, which tells the story of Jamie’s parents Brian and Ellen, as well as that of Claire’s mother and father.
The new series, which is currently in production in Scotland, will feature Harriet Slater as Ellen Mackenzie, sister to Colum and Dougal, and Jamie Roy as Brian Fraser, illegitimate son of ‘The Old Fox’, Simon Fraser. Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine will play Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp.
There’s no news, as yet, about other significant characters. However, many will be hoping to find out about younger versions of Outlander fan favourites such as Murtagh, Colum, Dougal and Mrs Fitz. With filming currently taking place at Doune Castle, we’re hoping to find answers to at least some of those questions soon. 🙂
