University of Glasgow – Main Building

Filming took place at the University of Glasgow during the summer of 2016, then later in the winter. It was used for scenes involving Harvard University, where Frank worked as a Professor.

The University is Glasgow one of the world’s oldest universities, dating back to its founding in 1451. It is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world. Located in the the west end of Glasgow it is surrounded by many inviting attractions, including nearby art galleries, parks and lovely tree-lined streets.

How to get to the University of Glasgow
An extensive transport system allows you to travel anywhere in the city by any one of several means :

Underground : The closest station is Hillhead. The trains operate on a a single circular line, so you can’t go far wrong. 5 minutes walk to the the University.
Train : Take a low level train to either Partick or Exhibition Centre, then walk 10 – 15 minutes.
Buses : 4, 4A, 15, x77
Car : Parking is difficult, but car parks are available near Byres Road and next to the Kelvin Hall.
