A recent video posted on YouTube reveals that filming for Outlander has been taking place in Slovakia.
The video, posted by Access, has brief inteviews with Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Ron Moore and Maria Doyle Kennedy. When talking with Moore, the Outlander showrunner revealed that Slovakia was used to represent the rivers and mountains of North Carolina.
